How does Versalma work?
You choose a package and tell us your story through our guided form. We write personalized lyrics, produce the song, and a person curates the result before we email it to you. Your package includes correction rounds in case anything needs adjusting.
Is the music made with AI?
Yes, and we're open about it. Versalma songs are AI-assisted and human-curated: lyrics are drafted from your story with AI assistance and refined by a person, and the music and vocals are produced with AI music tools. A person reviews every song, selects the best takes and checks names and pronunciation before delivery.
How long does it take?
Estimated delivery is 3–5 business days for Essential, 5–7 for Signature and 7–10 for Memory Film, starting when your form is complete and payment is confirmed. These are estimates; if you have a firm date, tell us in the form and we'll confirm whether we can meet it.
Can my song be in Spanish?
Absolutely. We create songs in English, in Spanish, or bilingual. Just choose the song language in the order form.
What if a name is hard to pronounce?
Our form asks you to spell each name the way it sounds (for example, "Siobhan: shiv-AWN"). Pronunciation is one of the things a person checks before delivery, and it's always covered by your correction rounds.
How do corrections work?
Each package includes one or two correction rounds. A round covers changes to lyric wording, names, pronunciation, dates and small details, sent as one consolidated list within 14 days of delivery. Starting over with a different story or genre counts as a new song.
What is your refund policy?
You can cancel for a full refund before work on your song begins. Once production has started, orders are non-refundable, and your included corrections are how we make it right. See the Terms of Service for the full policy.
What do you do with my story and photos?
We use them only to create and deliver your song. They're shared only with the service providers that help us do that (such as our form, payment and AI music tools), and deleted 90 days after final delivery unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Will you share my song publicly?
Only if you explicitly opt in. Public sharing is a separate, optional choice in the order form, and you can withdraw permission at any time by emailing us.
Can I use my song commercially?
Your song is licensed for personal, non-commercial use: playing it at your event, gifting it, and sharing it on personal social media. For commercial use, please contact us first.
How do I pay?
Payment is made inside our secure order form and processed by Stripe. Versalma never sees or stores your card number.
